Message from the President

Summer 2009
More than half the year is over and we have made great strides in the Business Enhancement Committee to improve the Great Neck Business commu¬nity. We are working with the Town of North Hempstead and Nassau County to plan and implement new ideas and concepts for our future.

On Monday evening, June 1st, we had the ever popular “Taste of Great Neck” at the Officers’ Club, United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point. With 17 Great Neck restaurants participating, it was a huge success and a delightful evening. The weather was fabulous with the sunset views of the bridges and the water, and over three hundred people attending the event. All the restaurants were pleased with the turnout as the attendees enjoyed their culinary delights.

The Nominating Committee will be meeting this summer and we are always looking for new individuals to join our Board of Directors. We look forward to seeing you in September and have a great summer!
